Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
CSGOCorn ("CSGOCorn", "we", "us" or "our") operates this website and its related pages (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data lawfully and transparently.
By using the Site you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
CSGOCorn is an independent affiliate review portal that publishes reviews, comparisons and bonus information for CS2, Rust, crypto casino and IRL unboxing websites. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and similar laws, CSGOCorn is the data controller of the personal data processed through the Site. To contact us about privacy, or to exercise any right below, use our Contact page (Discord: csgocorn).
2. Summary
- You do not need an account to browse the Site.
- We never store your raw IP address — it is irreversibly hashed before storage.
- We use privacy-friendly, consent-based analytics.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- When you click an affiliate link, the destination site's own privacy policy applies.
3. Data we collect
a) Data you provide voluntarily
- Review content, including the display name, rating, title and text you submit when posting a user review.
- Any information you choose to send us when you contact us.
b) Data collected automatically
- Anonymous click and traffic data when you use affiliate ("Claim Bonus" / "Visit Site") links, including the destination site, timestamp, referrer, browser user-agent and an approximate country derived from your IP address.
- A hashed, pseudonymised representation of your IP address. We never store the raw IP.
- Standard analytics data such as pages visited, time on page and device or browser type, collected only where you have consented to analytics cookies.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of data (such as health, biometric or financial-account data), and you should not submit such data to us.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Site to function and are always active. Analytics cookies are optional and only run after you consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw consent at any time by adjusting your browser settings or clearing cookies. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Consent — for analytics cookies and optional tracking; you may withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to measure aggregate affiliate click performance, secure the Site, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve our content, balanced against your rights.
- Performance of a contract or steps at your request — to publish a review you submit or respond to your enquiry.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data to comply with the law.
6. Affiliate links and third parties
CSGOCorn is funded through affiliate commissions. When you click an affiliate link you are redirected to a third-party operator that may track you for commission-attribution purposes. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites; please read their privacy policies. An affiliate link is not an endorsement beyond our independent editorial assessment.
7. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with:
- service providers who host the Site or provide analytics and security, acting as our processors under contract;
- affiliate partners, limited to the click and attribution data needed to credit referrals;
- authorities or third parties where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety or property of CSGOCorn or others.
Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
8. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Hashed click data is retained in aggregate for analytics and fraud prevention. Published reviews are retained while relevant to the Site; you may request removal of a review you submitted. Contact correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; request erasure ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to certain processing; data portability; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may complain to your national supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA — including to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; we do not sell personal information as defined by that law. To exercise any right, contact us via the Contact page; we will respond within the time limits set by applicable law.
10. Children
The Site is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including IP hashing, encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest revision, and material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
13. Disclaimer
This Privacy Policy is provided for transparency and general information and is not legal advice. Consult a qualified lawyer to ensure the Site's data practices comply with all laws applicable to your jurisdiction.
