What Is Provably Fair? How to Verify Every Roll Yourself

What is Provably Fair?
In the world of online skin gambling, trust is everything. Provably Fair is a cryptographic system that ensures the casino cannot manipulate the outcome of a bet after you've placed it. It effectively eliminates the "house rig" capability for properly implemented games.
The Three Pillars
It involves three variables:
- Server Seed: Generated by the site before the round. It is hashed (hidden) so you can't see the result beforehand.
- Client Seed: A variable YOU allow (or set). This ensures you have input into the random generation.
- Nonce: A counter that increases with every bet, ensuring each result is unique.
How to Verify
Most reputable sites have a "Verify" button on every bet history entry. Clicking this will show you the unhashed Server Seed. You can copy these values into 3rd party verifiers (or write your own script) to confirm that the hash matches the result. If the math works, the game was fair.
Never play on a site that doesn't offer this transparency. If they hide the seeds, they are hiding the truth.
